How often do you get the chance to work with a classic Norman Rockwell painting on a book cover? And when you do, you absolutely can not crop, alter or print type over it. Which is fine by me. Nice.

Think so too. The second cover is really much better. I love the idea, but I would shrink the type a bit.

That painting does not look like Rockwell. But it's a well designed cover and looks attractive enough to pick it up. I love the recent stream of illustrative covers. For a while all you saw out there seemed to be photo-based covers.

I think the Rockwell is the perfect choice for this particular title.
